Mannu Bhandal | #99

Don Pedro
(he/him)

Mannu Bhandal is a stage actor and award-winning filmmaker.  While he has been active in Toronto’s South Asian theatre scene for years, he is particularly thrilled to
be a part of this year’s production of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, given that it’s
taking place in his own city- Brampton. He has studied Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and has received further training at the West End Theatre in Oakville, under acting teacher Yo Mustafa. His dream is to one day create his own Punjabi theatrical adaptations of Shakespeare’s plays.  He has always been drawn to Shakespeare’s works because they are universal and carry a timeless understanding of the complexities of the human
Condition.
